Lora Ann Anderson, born April 13, 1965, in Warren County, departed this world peacefully on September 7, 2026, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, surrounded by family. At age 61, her life was a reflection of faith, devotion to family, and service to others, leaving a lasting legacy that will never be forgotten.

Her educational journey began at Port Gibson High School, and her spiritual path was guided by her Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Hyder, Sr.; grandparents Charlie and Celia Anderson and John and Buehler Hyder; daughter Alisha Anderson; sister Rubye Hyder-Thomas; and brothers Michael Anderson, Harold Hyder, and Thomas Hyder, Jr.

Lora's memory is eternally cherished by: Two daughters, Lashunda Anderson and Kiara Anderson; Three sons, Marcus Hyder, Calvin Anderson, and Kendall Anderson; Her beloved mother, Lucille Hyder; Sisters, Janice D. (Daniel) Haynes, Connie (Terrance) Watson, and Tracey Hyder; and Brothers Eric Hyder, Gerald Hyder, and Shamari Hyder.

Lora's enduring spirit and warmth will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visitation: Friday, September 18, 2026, from 1:00-5:00 pm at Barnes Chapel & Mortuary Service, 5087 Hwy 61 South, Port Gibson, MS 39150.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Mercy Seat Church M.B. Church, 3169 MS-Hwy 547, Port Gibson, MS 39150. Officiating Pastor will be Rev. Daniel Hayes.

Interment: Saturday, September 19, 2026 at McCaa Cemetery, 1000-1004 China Grove Road, Lorman, MS 39096.
